Writing Samples
This is the final edit of the pilot episode script that I wrote for my TV Screenwriting class. This assignment required us to plan out our characters, create unique sounding dialogue to help distinguish them, and consistently work on the story throughout the entire semester. With our story, we were given consistent feedback to help improve our pacing, characters, and general plot holes to help make the story fit the qualifications for a 60-minute TV episode. I found it very interesting to work with this urban setting for such a long period of time, and I found it helped to improve my skills in writing characters, planning out scenes, and showing instead of telling in not just screenwriting, but in all my writing projects.
